You're invited to a special Dedication Ceremony

Josiah Edson Chapter
Daughters of the American Revolution
Invites you...
to a special Dedication Ceremony

Saturday, September, 24, 2016
10 am
At the Northfield Public Library 210 Washington St.

The Story:
Originally dedicated on May 7, 1932, the bronze plaque and a Washington Elm tree were a gift to the Northfield Carnegie Library given by Josiah Edson Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.  After the death of the tree, the plaque went into storage and was lost.

Three Iowa women in concert returned the plaque to the Josiah Edson Chapter.  Today as we remember those whose work went before us, we rededicate the original plaque and dedicate a Patriot Elm with its own plaque.

Welcome all!
