Italy- a Mosaic in Time at talk with Bill North

On Thursday evening, October 6, join Bill North as he talks about the pleasures of exploring Italy's many layers of history. Like a mosaic, Italian landscapes and cultures are composed of elements drawn from many times and possessing many different qualities, and nowhere can this mosaic-like quality be observed better than Rome and Sicily. Bill will share images and perspectives accumulated over years of living, travelling, and teaching in Italy with his wife Victoria. He will also offer some thoughts on the practicalities of Italian travel and answer questions.
