2007 Library Pages begin spring training

We held the event on Bridge Square, this year's will be at Central Park followed by the first BOOKS & STARS of the summer featuring super singer/songwriter JUSTIN ROBERTS!

Abby was the first to put her hand on Booker!

"Booker the first" was once just plain white just like Booker II is now.

That will all change Wed. June 13!

Library Pages Spring Training begins!

We had a GREAT turn out for the informational meeting. Four returning Pages came and five new interested 5th graders. We will be meeting Tuesdays & Thursdays 3-5 until the end of the school year. Even if you can't be part of spring training- you can still volunteer this summer!

Spring Break Lunch Bunch kids had fun! Thank you Dominos for the yummy pizza!

We had 3 great days of pizza, 20 questions, "pass or play," giant match game, library bingo, movies, library scavenger hunt, Boggle and PIZZA! Over 65 kids enjoyed spending some of their spring break at the library.

Thanks go to the Northfield Dominos for donating the pizzas for all 3 lunches.

Adventure Girls are serious readers- NOT!

Any adventurous girls can join anytime! They meet every Tuesday night at 7 pm in the library.

Thanks to a GREAT DONATION from Graphic Mail Box- the new Booker has new signs!

Friday afternoon our "wonder bread" Booker got it's name again. Thanks to Graphic Mail Box for donating the signs and installation. Now, when you see a big white bus coming you'll know it's BOOKER!

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 13th -that's the date when people will be able to "print" their hand on the new Booker! A $5 donation per family is suggested. It's also the date of the 1st BOOKS & STARS of 2007. It's going to be a GREAT day!
