HELP! I have forgotten my PIN!

SELCO is happy to announcement a new feature in the catalog. Borrowers will be able to request that their PIN be sent to the email address they have on file with the library.

When selecting the My Account or Log In of the catalog, under the Barcode and PIN fields there is now a link titled "Forgot your PIN?" Clicking on the link causes the window to update and ask for their barcode. Provided they have an email address set up with the library the system will send an email from do-not-reply@selco.info containing their PIN.

It's time to be creative! It's SIDEWALK POETRY time.

The competition is held each February whereby local residents of any age may submit up to two short poems for consideration. Here are the rules for the competition. A jury of civic leaders and literary experts select, through a blind judging process, up to ten poems each year for imprint in the City’s sidewalks.  In April, to coincide with National Poetry Month, the poems are published on line and the winners are interviewed and get to read their poems on local KYMN radio.  Beginning in May, as soon as weather permits, poems are installed in sidewalks throughout the community.  A celebratory Capstone Event is held the third Thursday of August in Northfield’s downtown Bridge Square.

You may submit up to two very short poems.  They must be submitted from Monday, Feb. 1 through Monday, Feb. 29th to be considered.  Here are the rules.(on second page)

Check out this recent documentary on the Sidewalk Poetry project.

Did you know we offer FREE on-line magazines!? YES!
