How the summer reading program works-

It's pretty easy!
1. Come to the library and get a booklet for each participating child. There are "Read to Me" booklets and "Independent Reader" booklets.
(Grades 6-12 Teen Reading Program booklets are up in the YA area)
2. Take a "Paint Can" bookslip to fill out for each book read. Bring slips back and place them in the box to enter the "Reader of the Week" drawings. We will hang up all the slips to show how many books Northfield kids are reading this summer!
3. Record what was read in the booklet. Be sure to include all the information about the book. They can be read in any order. Bring your booklet with you for verification when you come to the library!
4. Come to "Drop in Discovery Times"- Monday nights, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturday mornings!
5. Come to age appropriate morning storytimes!
6. Go to "Books & Stars" on Wednesday nights!
7. Come to the "Visiting Artist Series" on Thursdays.
8. Come for a pizza snack if you have made your goal:
