Summer Reading program for children from pre-school to teens

The Northfield Public Library offers a free Summer Reading program for children from pre-school to teens.
The program is designed to help children & teens retain and enhance their reading skills over the summer.  Come to the library starting June 3 and pick up a reading record folder, and start reading.  Special age-appropriate story and activity times begin the week of June 10th through July 25.

TUESDAYS
10 am Tuesday Infant Lapsit
1-2 pm “We Dig Kindergarten” a special program for children who will be entering K this fall.

WEDNESDAYS
9:30 Toddler Rhyme Time I
10:30 Toddler Rhyme Time II
1-3 pm “Dig into Reading” drop in stories and activities for kids going into 1st through 4th grade.
BOOKS & STARS
Evenings from 6:30-8 Family, fun entertainment! Check the BOOKS & STARS BLOG!

THURSDAYS
10 am Preschool Stories & Craft
11:30 Domino’s Pizza! For those who have read this week!
12--2:15 “We dig LEGOS!” Use the library’s Lego collection to create weekly challenges.

TEENS- pick up a reading record in the TEEN area beginning June 3.

*** Bring your reading record folder to collect and earn rewards for reading to the library at the above times PLUS Mondays 6-8 pm!
